hooray for camomile?
so as of the last couple of days, egon’s skin’s taken a definite turn for the better! no thanks to me, after i thought he might like to try some greek yogurt. a couple of tiny tastes and his entire face was red, blotchy and ITCHY! i felt terrible :( this subsided after about 20 minutes but he was left looking pretty bad from all the scratching. doesn’t help that it’s...

the weather was hot this last (father’s day) weekend, so we decided it would be perfect to go out to arsenio’s parents’ place for a dip in the pool! jo, tony, penny, fran, leif and ziggy all joined us and the babies had some fun in a paddling pool and the big pool!

6 month checkup
egon’s 6 month birthday is nearly upon us! he had his checkup today - weighed in at 18lb 12oz, so his weight-gain has definitely slowed down now (hooray says my back!). everything is fine, apart from the eczema, which flared up just in time for the doctor to see. wondering if it was the oatmeal cereal. so we’re going to slow down on the new solids, try some rice cereal, and keep on...
hands and knees and some food!
egon’s now doing a great job of keeping up this hands and knees pose (we help him to get into it!) - and i think he likes it - a lot of the time when we sit him up now, he lunges forward to try and get into this position, usually ending up on his face! and then he cries and we have to save him, aww :) he’s getting ever so strong. he turns himself around when he wants to look at...
